➵ Ramblin’ Leathers are made by Meghan & Brendon Hartley.

We live and work on an agricultural acreage in the Kootenay region of BC. Both our log home and workshop were hand built by Brendon’s Dad in 1979. Originally his fine woodworking shop, we converted half the building to serve as our leather studio and the other our machine shop.

Meg set about making custom automotive & motorcycle seats in 2015 and founded Ramblin’ Upholstery. With a preference to working with leather and affinity to create other goods, the brand shifted to include those ideas. Brendon has been working in metal fabrication and design since around 2007 which quickly evolved to a focus on vintage Harley’s. Primarily offering frame and case restorations, custom parts and paint.

Over the years we have built a number of custom motorcycles together and rode them thousands of miles. Combining our experience, we work together designing and building products we’d want to use ourselves. We give a lot of care in selecting quality materials and everything we make is with intent to withstand the elements of the open road.

Western motorcycle history, riding & building choppers and the fine craftsmanship found in vintage saddlery are what inspires Ramblin’ Leathers ➵
